Defense Verdict in Erie County

Attorney Decker recently secured a defense verdict in a premises liability case in the Erie County Court of Common Pleas.  The represented defendant had conducted an auction at the residence of an elderly gentleman.  The plaintiff claims she was injured after falling on an allegedly defective step at the property.

The auctioneer defendant denied that he was on notice of any defect or was in any way negligent in the manner in which he conducted the auction.

The jury returned a verdict in favor of all defendants on all counts.
