Paralegals, Legal Assistants, & Staff

MacDonald, Illig, Jones & Britton LLP is seeking a full-time Paralegal to work in our busy Trusts & Estates Practice Group. Successful candidates must have the following:

• At least 3 years of experience working in a law office setting and a solid knowledge of the probate and estate planning processes including, but not limited to, filing probate documents, preparing and filing deeds, and assisting clients with the completion of trust and estate documents
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints with a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Requirements:

• Must be able to prioritize tasks with demanding deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and communication skills as well as the ability to work independently, and in a team environment
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• One to two years of experience in a law firm or office environment as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal is preferred but not required. On-the-job training is provided.
