Defense Verdict in Crawford County Arbitration

Attorney Decker recently won a defense verdict in a Crawford County compulsory arbitration involving a premises liability claim.  The plaintiff fell on the defendant property owner’s driveway delivering a package ordered online by the property owner.  The plaintiff sustained head, neck and back injuries.

The defense asserted that the property owner was not negligent and took reasonable steps to maintain the property.   Attorney Decker also raised questions of veracity given the report of the incident long after its alleged occurrence.

The panel of three returned a verdict in favor of the defendant on all counts.
