Defense Verdict in Compulsory Arbitration

Attorney Bruce L. Decker, Jr. recently secured a defense verdict for a local retail establishment in a compulsory arbitration in Erie County.

The plaintiff alleged that he slipped and fell on a negligently maintained floor in the store and sustained significant bodily injuries.  The defendant denied the claims.  The defense argued that the store had posted appropriate warning signage and denied that they were negligent in the maintenance of their property.

The panel returned a unanimous verdict for the defense on all claims.
