Bio

Mark is an experienced, responsive attorney who has focused on labor and employment law and litigation his entire career.  He takes the time to understand his clients' operations, workforces and challenges to provide tailored advice for the optimal approach to each situation.  Not only does Mark help his clients make decisions for today, he keeps an eye on the long-run to help employers achieve what they want down the road.

Serving the employment-related needs of private and public employers throughout the region, Mark routinely assists employers in establishing and maintaining employment policies, conducting workplace investigations, negotiating employment contracts and severance agreements, conducting engagement surveys, and training supervisors and other employees.  He also negotiates collective bargaining agreement matters with unions on behalf of employers.

With a practice that includes manufacturers, service industries, municipalities and school districts, Mark gains valuable insight that is useful in all areas of his practice.  The lessons learned working with one group of clients often assists him in working with other types of clients.  Mark's practice  includes the litigation of employment claims.  He also mediates claims between private parties and against federal entities.  He routinely practices before the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the National Labor Relations Board, as well as in the processing and resolution of grievances and arbitration proceedings. 

Mark places great importance on developing long-term relationships with his clients. He becomes a trusted part of HR and leadership teams, guiding and informing employers through the most difficult employee-related challenges.
