Bio

Lauren has a passion for employment law and takes pride in advocating for her clients' positions and concerns.  With a desire to make clients feel welcomed, she acts as a sounding board for her clients, listening to their concerns and maintaining an open flow of communication.

Lauren focuses her practice on all aspects of labor and employment counseling and litigation.  She is a member of the firm's Labor & Employment, Litigation, Business Transactions, Government Services, and Education Practice Groups.  Prior to joining MacDonald Illig, Lauren began her legal career as a litigation associate at a boutique law firm in Cleveland serving small businesses, nonprofits, and community development corporations throughout Northeast Ohio. 

Lauren received her J.D. degree from Cleveland State University, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, her M.P.A. degree from Cleveland State University, and her B.A. degree from Ohio Wesleyan University.  While in law school, she served as Student Bar Association President, a member of the Moot Court Team, and as an editor on the Cleveland State Law Review.  She also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Dan A. Polster of the United States Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
