Bio
Kathryn's dedication to guiding and reassuring her clients sets her apart. She is a member of the Civil Litigation Practice Group at MacDonald Illig, with a focus on commercial litigation, employment litigation, and insurance defense. She recognizes that legal matters can be complex and overwhelming, and she strives to provide ongoing support throughout the entire process. By offering clear guidance and regular communication, Kathryn ensures that her clients are well informed and confident in their decision-making.
Kathryn received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Richmond where she graduated cum laude in 2018, and her Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law in 2021. While in law school, she served as the Duquesne Business Law Informant Blog’s Small Business Correspondent, was a member of Phi Alpha Delta, and competed on the Trial Advocacy team. She also was a member of Duquesne’s Urban Development Practicum.
Prior to joining the Firm, Kathryn focused her practice on Labor and Employment Law. She has now expanded that practice to include additional civil litigation matters, such as insurance defense, contract disputes, and other areas of civil law. From the initial consultation with her clients, Kathryn ensures that all necessary information is gathered and documented accurately. She pays close attention to detail, making sure that no crucial piece of information is overlooked. Kathryn's organizational skills allow her to effectively manage the various tasks and deadlines involved in a legal proceeding, which helps clients feel confident and reassured throughout the process.
