Dan employs a direct and detailed approach to provide a clear sense of risks, rewards, and direction to his clients. He is skilled at taking complex concepts and focusing on the clients' goals and objectives.
Dan provides timely, efficient, and effective advice to the management of businesses, non-profit organizations and municipal entities in collective bargaining, labor relations, employee relations, employment discrimination, unemployment compensation, wage and hour matters, and employment benefits and related matters. His practice includes the handling of administrative proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, the National Labor Relations Board, the Federal and State Departments of Labor, the Pennsylvania Unemployment Compensation Board of Review, and various other administrative agencies.
Dan’s deep experience and scope of practice enable him to minimize his clients’ legal risks. When litigation is unavoidable he skillfully advocates on his client’s behalf.
Dan is chair of MacDonald Illig’s Labor and Employment practice group, a member of both the Business Transactions and the Government Services practice groups, and a member of MacDonald Illig’s Management Committee. He is also a frequent speaker on labor and employment issues.
