Attorneys Schumacher and Venesky Win Defense Verdict in Erie County Premises Liability Case
Attorneys Schumacher and Venesky recently secured a defense
verdict in a premises liability case in the Erie County Court of Common
Pleas. The plaintiff claimed she was injured after falling on an
allegedly defective step at a local restaurant. The represented
defendants included both the local restaurant and the property management
company. Defendants denied the step was defective, denied any notice of the
allegedly defective condition, and denied they were negligent in the manner in
which they owned, operated, and/or managed the restaurant.
After a three day trial, the jury returned a verdict in favor of the defendants
on all counts.
