Attorney Draskovic recently achieved a highly favorable outcome in a tax assessment appeal, securing a $6,077,744 reduction in the assessed value of a property initially valued at $10,783,844. This reduction translates into an annual tax savings of over $240,000 for the property owner.

The property was a five-story, 145-unit affordable housing facility situated on a 3.45-acre parcel of land within the city limits. Through the presentation of a detailed expert report and testimony,  Attorney Draskovic successfully demonstrated that the original valuation did not accurately reflect the property’s fair market value, leading to the substantial correction.
